The Taiwan Biostimulant Society (TBSS) was officially established on September 18, 2024 as Taiwan's first non-profit academic group focusing on biostimulant technology research and application. The purpose of this society is to ensure that biostimulant technology research lays the foundation for sustainable agricultural development, and to bring together professionals from industry, government, and academia to work together.

Biostimulants are an innovative technology that can improve crop quality, enhance plant resistance and reduce the use of chemical fertilizers, providing a more environmentally friendly and sustainable solution for modern agriculture. In an era when global climate change and environmental protection are receiving much attention, the development and application of biostimulants are particularly important.

The society is currently led by President Huang Jenn-Wen, and its members include professionals from research institutions, colleges and universities, agricultural technology units and the industry. It hopes that by holding seminars, publishing new academic knowledge and promoting ESG sustainable agriculture projects, the association will be committed to promoting the research, development and application of biostimulants in the country, strengthening the exchange of relevant information at home and abroad, and helping to expand the biostimulant market.
